There’s a point in the story in which we know that Victoria, after living a happy marriage with Julian, decides to choose dancing instead of him. Taking into consideration her motifs, thoughts, desires, and feelings, please answer the following:

RESEARCH (20 points)
To be able to dance in “pointes” is difficult, and requires lots of training. If you are a beginner ballet dancer, you will never be introduced to the pointes in your first classes. For this activity please research any interesting information that you can find about POINTE TECHNIQUE and write your report in at least 200 words for full marks.
COLORING (20 points)
Have fun and make pretty this coloring page! You may do it using any computer program, or if you prefer, print the image and color it by hand! Please do not send your work as an attachment, submit it to an image hosting site like Photobucket, and then send me the link to your picture.

For this activity, choose your favorite scene from The Red Shoes and illustrate it in the mean of art of your preference: graphic, drawing, photograph, sculpture, etc. Please do not send your work as an attachment, submit it to an image hosting site like Photobucket, and then send me the link to your picture.
CREATIVE WRITING (30 points)
You are a beginner ballet dancer and you have just finished your first ballet class! How did it go? Please write a short story (at least 300 words for full marks) telling me about your experience in your first ballet class! What moved you take ballet lesson? Were you excited? Was the teacher good or very strict? Were you tired? Was the class difficult? Are you planning to return to next class? These are just some questions that may help you to get started, but of course you can write about what you want, as long as it is related to the topic: YOUR FIRST BALLET CLASS.
