ABOUT THE CLASS
Dance Academy: Ballet is a one term class in which we will explore and study different ballet terms as well as beloved and famous ballet stories and performances.

LESSONS
Dance Academy: Ballet, consists of four lessons, a final exam and a class project. In each lesson we will cover a different topic, and the structure of the lessons is:
- Unique Technique: Learn some important ballet terms that will help you to understand this art better and also improve your technique
- Ballet of the Month: Learn about a famous ballet story: its origins, plot and interesting facts about the ballet being studied.
ASSIGNMENTS
There will be four assignments and four extra credits, each of them worth 30 points. There will also be a final exam and a class project. They are worth 30 points each.
The Assignments and Extra Credits will vary. You will have the opportunity to choose between a great collection of exercises in which you will find activities like multiple choices, matching, true or false, fill in the blanks, creative writing, art projects, puzzles, watching movies, etc.
There is something for everyone and you won’t get bored!

BONUS POINTS!
In this class you will have the opportunity to recover up to 20 lost points! How?? It's simple and fun! You only have to check the Class Forum and once a month I will be posting the definition of 5 ballet terms. You will have to find which is the ballet term I am referring to!
Send your results through HOL Message (pr_gus) and I will be counting your Extra Points. Besides that, the ones who guess all the terms correctly will receive a special award!

QUILL REQUIREMENTS
You decide which ballets to study and which not, meaning that you also decide what assignments to do or not do. But in order to pass this class and earn a quill I’m only asking you to earn at least 180 points, and one portion of those points should come from the final exam, which means that the exam is a MUST.

In this class you can earn up to 300 points:
* 4 Assignments (30 points each) = 120 points
* 4 Extra Credits (30 points each) = 120 points
